Dec. 17, 2019

Ministry Partners,
Today is flight day ..... YEA! Portland to Amsterdam to Entebbe, Uganda.

A couple of important things:
  • This blog was created for the benefit of IRM ministry partners and friends. If you are not a partner/friend or have not been approved to view this blog please find something else to occupy your time and treat my request with respect.
  • Because of our rigorous schedule with 55 crusades and internet issues I might not be able to post on this blog as much as I have in past years. I would appreciate some "grace" with misspelled words or sentences that don't seem to make sense except to my mind, as I will be coming in from a very long day.
  • Please comment if you have a minute. It's such an encouragement to us after a long day ....... longer day ..... and even longer day!
 Please pray for:
  1. Open hearts for the Gospel
  2. A fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit
  3. Favor with all we meet
  4. Safe air and land travel
  5. Health and energy for the team
I just received this alert from the U.S. Embassy in Kenya:

December 17, 2019

Holiday Security Alert

There is an increased risk of terrorism and criminal activity during the holidays in Kenya.  There is also a heightened risk of armed robbery, assault, and  kidnapping.  Travelers to Kenya are sometimes perceived to have gifts or large amounts of cash.  Threats posed by terrorist organizations and individuals inspired by extremist ideology exist throughout Kenya.  Extremists continue to focus on locations such as shopping centers, airports, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, transportation hubs, street markets, and other public venues frequented by Westerners.

Prayers for all of us on the team for safety as we travel throughout Kenya in January.
That none would be lost,
Arlene

  1. God's speed and traveling mercies for you and the team Arlene.
Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
    Yours in Christ
